Use Google video calls to get AdWords support

With Google video calls, you can connect face-to-face with an AdWords Online Specialist for personalized account service.

How video calls work

Video calls let you consult with an AdWords Online Specialist in real-time using Google Hangouts. Right now, video call support is available in select markets.

Getting started with using Google video calls

You can access the video call support option in a couple ways:
  1. Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com
  2. Click the gear menu  at the top of the page.
  3. Select Help, then Video call in the window that appears.

  4. Describe your issue briefly and click Start a video call.
  5. Click Join and wait for an Online Specialist to assist you. You can see your position in the queue while you wait for our specialist.

  1. Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com
  2. Click Contact us at the top of the page, then Start a video call in the window that appears.

  3. Describe your issue briefly and click Start a video call.
  4. Click Join and wait for a specialist to assist you. You can see your position in the queue while you wait for an Online Specialist.

Sharing your screen

To protect your privacy, the video camera on your computer will be turned off by default. If you’d like to interact with your Online Specialist face-to-face, you can turn the camera back on by clicking the video camera icon. You can also mute the audio, adjust the bandwidth, or end the video call by using the other menu options.

To share your screen while speaking with your Online Specialist, click Share my screen.

You can stop sharing your screen any time by selecting Stop sharing my screen.
A few things to keep in mind:
  • By requesting video call support from Google, you’re agreeing to the Google+ user content and conduct policy.
  • While sharing your screen, avoid opening any screens which contain personal or sensitive information such as your credit card information, passwords, etc. Online Specialists can only see the information you choose to share. Please read Google Screensharing for more information.
  • You don't need a Google+ account in order to request video call support for Google AdWords.
  • The quality of the video call may vary based on operating systems and Internet connections. Learn more about thesystem requirements for Hangouts.
